LocalVideoGif is a small, privacy-first experiment: turn a short MP4, WebM, or MOV into a GIF in your browser. Files are not uploaded to our servers.
What we are
- A focused Video → GIF tool with published caps (duration, FPS, width, size).
- Client-side: ffmpeg.wasm (self-hosted under /assets/vendor/ffmpeg/); static hosting on Cloudflare Pages.
- Honest about mobile memory limits and OOM failures.
What we are not
- Not LocalVideoZip (that compresses video).
- Not an unlimited / any-length converter.
- Not a service for converting videos you do not have rights to.
- Not a custom-domain / AdSense production launch on this pages.dev scaffold.
