LocalVideoGif is provided “as is”, free of charge, without warranties of any kind. Browser memory, codecs, and device limits may cause conversion to fail.

Copyright — your videos only

You may use the site only with videos you own or otherwise have authorization to convert. Do not use LocalVideoGif to convert other people’s videos, streams, or downloads without permission. You are responsible for rights, licenses, and local law. We do not encourage copyright infringement.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to disrupt the service, probe for vulnerabilities beyond good-faith research disclosed to us, or use the tool to launder unauthorized media. Do not market the output as an official product of unrelated brands you do not represent.

Limits (not unlimited)

v1 targets short clips with published caps (about 15 seconds, ~100 MB, FPS/width presets). We do not claim unlimited duration, unlimited size, or support for every codec. Mobile devices may run out of memory; failures should surface as clear errors.

No affiliation

LocalVideoGif is independent of LocalVideoZip and other similarly named tools. ffmpeg.wasm / FFmpeg are third-party projects under their own licenses (see vendor NOTICE when bundled).
